In California, I live with my two children because my husband has to work in another state. In fact, the two children are still small, so I have to take care of the whole family and be their daily lives’ support, so I also feel very tired and helpless all the time.
One time, a friend took me to a church event. I was very happy to get to know the people there. But I didn’t have the chance to go back again because no one took me there. I missed it all the time, and I really wanted to go to that church again. Later, I met a senior from that church, and she took me back to the church again.
Although my husband is still not around us, we are separated in two places. I do not have much time to talk to my husband and my children also feel a lack of the father’s love; it seems like we have a lot of missing pieces in our family. But it is precious that there are many brothers and sisters in the church who care for me and teach me how to help my two children. In addition, because God’s presence that always gives me strength to face all things.
Today I am not afraid because I am no longer alone on my journey. Instead, the God who loves me is with me and the brothers and sisters in the church always be my support.
Thank you, Lord!
